Strong. Smart. Tenacious. These three incredible women who serve as Advisors on Community Policing Advisory Boards with the Madison Police Department recently celebrated remarkable achievements. Please join us in congratulating them!

Layla Ameen, North district Advisor, immigrant from Afghanistan, mother of seven, Bilingual Resource Specialist with Madison Schools - MMSD, became fluent in English and this June earned her GED, graduating from Madison College.

Kahlia Lintner, Midtown district Advisor, mother, gun violence survivor, earned her Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Madison College earlier this month.

Chelsey Tubbs, West district Advisor, community servant, Associate Superintendent of Elementary Schools with Madison Schools - MMSD, was recognized recently as one of In Business Madison's 2025 "Forty Under 40" honorees.
