National Night Out, held last night throughout Madison and the U.S., is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. Several of our Community Policing Advisory Board members came out to meet and talk with residents about neighborhood safety, gathering ideas, feedback, and new friends! The MCPF trolley took MPD Chief Barnes and other leaders from the Madison Fire Department, UW Police, Dane County Emergency Management, the Madison Metropolitan School District, MCPF, and a variety of community organizations on a whirlwind citywide tour of National Night Out. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate, build trust, and strengthen relationships! πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ¦πŸŽΆπŸšŽ
