Central District Town Hall leans into conversations about community safety in downtown Madison
Monday night's Madison Police Department Central District Town Hall drew a great crowd — and even better conversation. Community members brought real questions and a range of perspectives on issues hitting close to home: concerns about the unhoused, mental health, traffic, and quality of life issues on the isthmus and beyond.
It was especially encouraging to see not just residents but also community and business leaders from the City of Madison, Wisconsin Government, Downtown Madison, Inc., and others showing up and engaging.
Thanks to Central District leadership, detectives, neighborhood officers, and Community Policing Advisors Paul Q. and CeCe P. for being part of the conversation.
